My Journey

  • Years ago, I won the innagural Black British Theatre Award for Best Dance Performance.

But before that, a neurological injury left me completely uncoordinated. My dance career nearly ended and I lost all self-confidence.

To recover, I had to retrain my body and mind—not just to move again, but to rediscover the joy of dance.

I developed a spatial awareness technique that helped me make easier movement choices, restoring both control of my body and confidence in myself.

That breakthrough became The Kinesthetic Assembly.

My Mission

  • That same breakthrough that restored my confidence? I want to share it with you.

Whether you only dance after a few drinks or feel awkward at parties, The Kinesthetic Assembly is here to help you discover the dancer that's already inside you.

Our classes create a safe space where you can let go of self-consciousness and embrace the pure fun of movement.

You'll learn not just steps, but how to feel at home in your own skin—whether you're at a wedding, a club, or just dancing in your kitchen.

Because dancing isn't about perfect technique. It's about feeling free, connecting with others, and finding that confidence you've been looking for.
